Since 1985 Rose of Sharon has been making a positive difference in the lives of young mothers and their children. Providing support and services to pregnant and parenting women under the age of 29 living in York Region, Rose of Sharon gives young mothers the opportunity to work towards their goals in a supportive, learning-centered environment while parenting their young children. Our agency provides counseling services, a high school program, pre-natal and post-natal parenting programs, a child development center and access to "Rosie's Closet" our food and clothing depot. Our services are life-altering for many young mothers because we equip them with the skills they need to rise up against the challenges they face, which enables them to improve their lives and their children's.
