The vision for #EIR is to build community by sharing entrepreneurs' personal journeys and stories.

Not necessarily entrepreneurs who rival Bill Gates, Elon Musk, or Mark Zuckerberg etc. in public recognition, but entrepreneurs of all business maturities who are working to make an impact in the York Region community and beyond. Entrepreneurs (and intrapreneurs, artpreneurs, mompreneurs, youthpreneurs, and any *preneurs you want to call yourself) who aren't afraid to share where they messed up, where fate dealt them a crappy card - but also how they picked themselves back up, how they figured out how to make it work, and how they managed to keep it together throughout.

Because we don't all get it right on the first (or second or third) try. And sometimes, it's oddly comforting to hear that someone made AND RECOVERED from the mistake you're going through right now. And maybe you're not crazy - and you're going to be okay.

As the esteemed philosopher Michael Jackson once said, "you are not alone." Come to EIR to meet others who have been through it, or are going through it. You might be inspired.
